Any tips on fork this time of year? Never been out there and looking to go in the next couple weeks.

Getting ready for the Big Bass Splash ?

I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.

August and September are pretty tough months to fish fork. Unless you know a spots where fish are stacked up I would not expect good results.

Go shallow in the grass or go graph humps, points and deeper ditches

To my point above, I was able to get on the water today. Trolling motor down and went the first two hours without a bite. I then stumbled into a small area where the fish were stacked up. Caught 6 fish in 45 minutes on topwater and then it ended. Struggles for the rest of the day. Most days this time of year that 45 minute window never happens. Biggest fish went 7.1 pounds.
