Thanks Curtis for the reply. I target carp usually three or four times a year. I have several good spots that are close to home. As for bait it's ether plane old corn or worms! Every now and then doe balls. hooked

Thanks Chuck. I personally to do not fish for em but have accidentally caught a few while fishing for other species. They can take a kayak for a ride! As you have said they are great fighters. boxing

Carp and buffalo are some of my favorite freshwater fish...especially on a fly rod. I have caught a carp on a fly every month for the last 4 year fish lol

Usually fall to early spring right before the spawn. Keep in mind I do not target carp but love to catch them for the great fight they give. On trips that I do target them it is usually from fall up until their spawn. That's just me! thumb
