Oldest & family came over for long weekend and he was helping me set the posts for a new carport. Just pas 40, his only work experience after his first job scooping ice cream at Braums is retail sales. As I was explaining the desire for a not-too-thick not-too-thin concrete, thinking he might learn something from my past experiences, he commented, I know, Dad, I worked at Lowes for over 5 years. BwaHaaHaa! That's 5 years as what amounts to a shelf-stocking clerk over a decade ago and he knows all about construction!

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.
