 Short morning on Canyon Lake

We hit the lake early for a few hours just trying to find some fish. We found a few before it got to hot.

Enjoy your videos. I fish Canyon sometimes too. Does sure look your trying to loose rods though. That stray 5 pounder that sucks up that minnow will pull that rig right over.

Enjoy your videos. I fish Canyon sometimes too. Does sure look your trying to loose rods though. That stray 5 pounder that sucks up that minnow will pull that rig right over. You're right for sure, I've caught a few big stripers in there that would have taking our rods. Heck that blue gill almost got one of Joel's rods.  We were living on the edge. LOL But honestly we do need to be more careful and use the rod holders. Thanks.

You're right, it's too stinking hot. I'm waiting a few more weeks. Maybe it will be better.
