 Some firsts on lake Fork this weekend!!

Had my buddy Shane and his son Ethan out this weekend for a half day trip. Fish were super picky but we managed to scratch out 20 or so. Ethan wanted to fish all by himself and he did pretty good but was late on the hooksets with a jig so I finally talked him into using a straight minnow rig and he went to slinging slabs in the boat including BFOD at 2.11! He had a pretty good day! First time crappie fishing. First time on a boat. And his first 2 pounder! Numbers were tough but size was pretty darn good!!
