I'm looking for at least 1 couple or small group of 4 or less to split a charter for a deep sea trip with me and my wife. We are interested in in an 8-10 hour deep sea trip, possibly a night tuna trip but something a little more exotic than just a red/speck trip. Most of the charters I have looked at are for up to 6 people, and there is just the two of us. Send me a message if interested. We are open to ideas and suggestions. Thanks

Where are you thinking of leaving from? Freeport, Port A, etc.. Have you tried Blue Fin Charters out of Freeport? They normally have 2-4 openings on charters with limited parties. Cost is typically $220 per person. My daughter and I will be trying to go with them before school starts back up.

Well we are pretty open to whatever. We live in the Tyler area, so Galveston is probably our closest option, but we don't mind driving a few hours extra if need be.

If your looking for Tuna on 8 to 10 hours then your looking for shrimp boats out of PA...maybe. If you don't want to wait for shrimp boats I'd go to Venice. If Kings, jacks and cobia are the ticket I'd still go to PA. we just got back from one or we would consider it. Kings were a little slow but they will heat up soon.

I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.

Thanks for the info and PA would be fine, that's the area we normally go to fish the marshes or jetty areas out of my 19 ft boat. Like I said, we are open to different options and don't mind driving a few hours for the right trip and another group to go with.

I'm wanting to do this again with myself and fiance...worked out great last summer. Open to any kind of offshore trip now through Oct anywhere off the Texas coast. So if anybody needs a couple of spots filled on a boat, send me a PM.
Thanks

Seriously, you need to relax, was just playing. You said "wife" in the first post and "fiance" a year later...was playin. I had one of those years too.. and I did not get cranky with someone saying anything... in fact.. you can make fun of her too.. I enjoy it.. wink

Have fun on your trip, either way.

My daughter and I ended up doing a trip with Olivia J Charters out of Freeport. VERY reasonably priced and only 4 total on the boat. My daughter, myself and a father son duo. For the most part, it is $130 per person for a half day.
