The grass is not as thick as it was, water level was a little lower than it has been. They were working on the dock by the boat ramp when I was there. It was just a bunch of poles sticking out of the water.

Is the dock rebuilt yet? That ramp is at such a shallow angle. Without the dock, it's hard to launch alone without getting your feet wet. I usually back in next to the dock and use it to hop in the boat.
I was out there a couple weeks ago. It was maybe a few inches low. Morning bite was decent but it got pretty tough when the sun came up. Tons of grass but those fish get way down under that stuff when the sun comes up. Punching pretty much becomes the only option and I'm not very good at it.

You can nose up to shore either side of ramp it’s just soft mud

One was really small and one was 4 pounds or so. Caught every single fish on the same spot. Power poled down and fan casted for 4 hours. All on shaky headed trick worms. Tried two other spots and went back to my starting spot and caught some more each time. Stayed at Clark too long to go to Bardwell. I went through two packs of worms and two packs of owners. So my next stop is Academy. I wish fishing stuff was tax free.

Gotta back way down to get the boat off the trailer, and then I had to get my feet wet to get to the boat. Not a big deal, just annoying.

He can’t climb over the bed side and walk down to the boat like a truck owner. Being a black truck owner, I’m not sure I wanna climb onto that hot SOB. The ramps dock looks like an easy fix, but, it doesn’t look like the city is on it at all. The caution tape is deteriorating now. Lol.
