Met friends after church at Hard Eights. They were in a hurry and didn't think they had time to drive to 407BBQ. Bad decision. Brisket had zero flavor plus it was dry, same for the ribs and sausage barely any flavor. The beans were good once I added some jalapenos to them. Only thing we enjoyed were the fries and onion rings.

I guess I'm spoiled from eating Tmans. Not planning on ever going back.

I ate at the one in the Colony not too long ago and was not impressed. The best thing there was the free pinto beans.

Hard 8 is mediocre. Not terrible but definitely not great.

IMO any time a restaurant known for good food, especially BBQ, decides to open more locations the quality of the food is never the same. Hard 8 and Coopers BBQ are good examples as well as Kincades Hamburgers.

We have always had good luck quality wise at the Roanoke location.

Been there 3 times. Tasted like over-priced BBQ all 3 times.

Kincaids was over rated when it was a single joint on Camp Bowie. Hard 8 was good in the original location, now it's a step above Dickeys.
