For.u lowrance guru's, if I buy a hds carbon 12 and.an active image 2 in 1 transducer do I need anything else to hook it up like an lss module?

Yeah, you'll need a 2-d transducer. You'll get your down and side imaging without anything else, but you need something for the Traditional sonar.

Thanks David I have a sonar transducer already in my boat that will hook up fine I just needed to make sure I did not need any kind of module to hook up the 2 in 1 transducer
