 update software on a HDS 12?

I tried this in the general discussion under the Lowrance section, but no replies. Just bought a gen 3 HDS12 today that has the 4.0 version of the software on it. The boat I just bought has two gen 3 HDS 9's already on it. What's the latest version of the software for all of these units and does Lowrance do this for free like Humminbird? Thanks!

18.2 is the latest. If you connect your graph to WIFI it should prompt you to update

U can go to Lowrance.com and download all of their updates to an sd card for free and install them in ur units.
