Had one for 7 years. Life changing for me. I have pretty bad back issues. Worth every penny.

I have slept on sleep number in a number of hotels. Never impressed. I like the Temper Pedic or however you spell it.

We had one for several years before we ditched it. It will eventually get out of shape. Since you cannot rotate the mattress, it will keep getting worse and worse.

Based on my experience, I would not buy one again.

I found this to be true with the one we bought also especially if you weigh over 200lbs. At first I swapped sides with the inflatable mattress's that helped for a while finally I called Sleep Number to complain and they sent me 2 new inflatables for about 25% of retail they lasted another couple of years and we got rid of the inflatable stuff and put a Leesa bed in a box in its place. Almost 2 years old and its still ok.

I am 6' 7" and we tried one out at the showroom and I had plenty of legroom.

We both loved it and want one but my wife wants to wait until we finish getting the floors refinished. frown
