Catfishing "jugs" are not difficult to make yourself - the hard part is rounding up the needed materials from the big box stores. I didn't want any cheap little stinkin' rigs and saw flaws in the ones made out of PVC - the eye screws have nothing to grab for one thing. So I designed my noodle sticks using treated wooden dowels and stainless steel eye screws. Old fashioned jugs also take up too much room in my small boat. However, I can carry a dozen of my sleek noodle sticks in a five gallon bucket.
