Holy Moly ! I sure wouldn't feel guilty about taking some home to eat out of that school...Looks like it could use some thinning out !

Banker...I believe this is Cuyuna county state recreation area in Minnesota. There are a few other videos like this on on You Tube of this clear lake that are awesome...

Minnesota has a lot of clear water lakes. By the looks of that video they also have a nice population of some very nice sunnies.
Side Note: I thought I was looking at a water body in Texas!

Thanks Steve. I will check those videos out. I bet both Fayette and Decker have large schools of Bluegill also!  Side Note: Sure miss Dunlap!

I have seen schools like that in years past at Joe Pool, but the fish were not nearly as large. The schools come up when the carp fishermen chum the area near the restaurant. Some of the fish in the video look as if they would be over ten inches. The only place I know of to match the video is Bluegill Lakes near Athens.

I have seen several nice schools of sunnies (not quite as big but still lots of fish) while snorkeling in Boerne city lake, Lake Nueces at Camp Wood and Medina. Haven't snorkeled Amistad but I'm sure you could find them in that clear water.
