Looking for advise where they might be located. Does any body know what depth the shad are running? Thanks in advance.

First welcome to TFF most guy don't share info on where they are catching fish openly. If they did the spot would not last long. I just started fishing Whitney no luck it takes time. A trick I use on TFF is I find guy that fish the lake and then read there post in the past. Guys will put info in there post that they realize. What some guy said post may come back and haunt them. As far as the Shad they are deep now, and hard to get. Any way go luck

Focus on timber and brush in 14-22ft. Look for timber that is submerged and in the main body of the lake, as opposed to stuff that everyone can find without a graph. I wouldn't worry a ton about where the baitfish are at, but if you're needing some live stuff for striper, the deep water around Harbor Master usually has some in the wee hours of the morning.

I have had a little luck in the standing timber, visible and submerged, in the Kimball Bend area.

This year has been bad . We have a slip @ Harbor Master that we have brushed out with bamboo . Nothing ! All the floods really messed us up this year . Try under Katy bridge at night about in the middle next to one of the pile ons deep
May your wiener schnitzel always stay above your lederhosein.
