appears to be a shooting of some kind at a walmart in baton rouge.

One thing that's bugging me....
Americans have been going into Mexico for many, many years for cheaper (fill in the blank).
Obviously, whatever we have been buying is worth the trip.
What makes it worth it for citizens of a poorer country to travel to the USA for the sole purpose of shopping?
I'm hearing that many from Mexico make a monthly trip to shop?
Thoughts?

Thoughts? I'm sure it does not happen all along the border, but El Paso is different in nature. Juarez and El Paso are essentially one city because they are so close together. This probably allows Juarez citizens to have more options for their purchases. IMO

Thoughts? the do it all along the border, laredo and nogales always had about as many mexican nationals as american shoppers. I used to deliver cup o noodles to walmart and sams club along the border, irvine ca. to laredo with various stops on the way sometimes, sams in laredo took the full 53' trailer load a lot of the time. we have selection that they can not get on the other side of the fence.

Also they claim the taxes going back to MX and receive the tax money they paid. If you live around the border you don't throw the current receipts away. They will take from trash and use them to reenter MX.
