As Dorothy said...There's no place like home Toto ! Fished Fayette today from daybreak til 12:00 noon. Water temp 92-94 degrees & up about 6 inches. The bite today was incredible. Fished 5 areas...caught well over 100 sunnies & the vast majority were big & bigger. Started out at the dam, then moved across lake to a submerged tank dam followed by reedbeds & finished up in two different depth tree areas. (5-7 ft & 1-3ft) Caught 25-30 in each spot. Used night crawlers the 1st half of the morning & Gulp Alive 1" minnows (chartreuse & white) for the 2nd half of the morning. It really didn't matter, they hit both with a vengeance. I tried to take some pics with the Gulp Alive minnows & you can see them in some of the pics. [Linked Image]

Bills...Not quite...I would say a 7 lb bass is comparable to a 12 inch bluegill & I only had 3 or 4 10 inchers, but thanks for the reply.
Grampy...Thanks for the reply & comments.
Chuck...Well, I would have to say this has really been my home lake for quite some time...it just used to be my home bass lake, as that was all I fished for until you got me goin on this ultra lite trip...and what a trip it's been. I love it !

I have fished Fayette a few times over the past several years from my kayak. The lake is very kayak friendly. There are several kayak fishing tournaments that are held on Fayette every year. woot

Not fishing either Fayette or Decker this week I got a lot of work that I need to get done. I just got back from Tennessee yesterday. Hopefully I'll be caught up by the end of the week and can fish next week somewhere
