It sounds awesome! Had something going for the first one planned six months in advance and same for this one but I'm in for Pines!!
For those of y'all spooked by the entry fee. Crappie fishing fools is on Fork the weekend before for $40 or $50. Tournament crappie fishing is addicting though. I will warn you in advance!!

HOGON makes a great point. Can there be a non angler on board?.... and is a high fee.

each boat has a marshall....i think thats what the rules say,...theres a $25 marshall fee

I think only 15 boats or so will have marshals on this tourney. Last one each boat had a Marshall. They couldn't pay me enough to sit in a boat all day on Fork and not fish!!!
But for some folks i can see it as money well spend.
