1991 Nitro 16' Bass Boat w/ 60HP Evinrude Tracker

I purchased this boat in 2002 and I am the 2nd owner.

I am selling due to the need to find something larger to accommodate a growing family. It has many features of a tournament-grade bass boat in a smaller package (see list of features and extras below).

I have primarily crappie fished out of the boat, but it functions equally as well for black bass, white bass, catfish, etc. I've fished for them all out of this rig. The boat has been garage kept the last 9 years. In 2007, the transom and stringers of the boat were re-built and are sound to this day.

Features
- 16' V-hull
- 60HP Evinrude Tracker w/ SS prop (35mph top end)
- 55lb thrust Minn Kota All Terrain foot controlled trolling motor (12V) running Minn Kota Weedless Wedge 2-blade prop (better initial thrust IMO), but will include Kipawa 3-blade prop (better top end/weedless)

- Humminbird 797c2 SI Combo (includes Navoinics HotMaps Premium South card) w/ External GPS receiver, graph attached with RAM mount at console. Yes, it may be 1st gen, but I have (and continue to find structure with this unit).
- Lowrance X510c (5" color unit) on bow

- Trailer tires and spare are 2 years old
- Trailer bearings serviced/replaced with Timken bearings 2 years ago
- LED tail and marker lights on trailer

- Seats recently professionally re-upholstered, front and rear pedestal seats also included (they're in great shape as well)
- Optima 27 group blue top for trolling, Exide 24 group for starting/accessories (both batteries purchased in 2017)
- Dual Pro 2-bank 15A charger (can be mounted on-board, but I always kept it external to free up compartment space)
- Hot Foot Throttle
- Dual Blinker Trim
- Rod locker will fit an 8' rod! (this was a huge plus for my crappie rods)
- 3-step Windline Dive/Sport ladder (removable ladder w/stationary mount)
- Attwood Anchor Rein II (retractable dock line storage for tying up to courtesy dock)
- JVC stereo
- Add-on variable timer for livewell
- LED lighting in rod locker and rear storage compartment
- Rear compartment behind passenger seat converted to ice chest (drain plug installed, compartment insulated)
- 3-gallon auxillary external gas tank stored in rear storage compartment
- All gauges/lights working
- License plate tags just renewed; good through 8/2020

Got the slightly newer version of that same boat. It has neer left me stranded, and fishes as well as any other boat. The rod locker is deceptively large...

No leaks. The repairs and reinforcements added to the overall weight of the hull, but also provided a MUCH more stable ride in the water. I've fished with guys with larger boats that have commented on the ride given its 16' length. It was definitely a step up from the factory construction.

I became aware of the need for repair shortly after buying this boat in '02 (it was my first boat purchase) and would not wish that experience on anyone.
