Thinking of doing some creek fishing on Tuesday. Wanting to actually get in the water and work down stream. Trying something different.

Got plans to fish a private pond! A friend of mine got permission from the owner to fish it this week. The pond is about 3 acres and is about 10 feet deep. Spring fed with little to none fishing pressure. Pond is in the Kerrville area. Slim chance I may have to go to Dallas for business on two of my scheduled days off! Hopefully that does not happen. If it does the next chance to fish the pond will be in late October! taz

Side Note: If I do have to go to Dallas it would be "Over Time"! partyon

Have several spots that have been fishing good that are not that far of a drive. I am also thinking of making a road trip. Either way I will be fishing a lot this week! thumb

I plan to fish at the Lynn Creek Marina at Joe Pool Wednesday. The fish are in their late summer pattern. That is, they are biting vigorously at 6:00 AM when I gain access to the pier. The bite continues along the rock rip rap until the sun hits the water. Then the bite stops cold along the rocks. I do not know where they go then. When the lake had vegetation the bite moved from the rock edge to the weed edge, but that is gone now because of the flooding earlier.
