I love using the small spinning lures on the sunfish. Little George,Rooster Tails, and the Rapala Minnow Spin. Nothing beats a hit from a BIG sunfish on any of these lures. They are also not expensive! Side Note: My second would be soft plastics such as grubs and worms followed closely by small crank baits and the Gulp Alive Leaches and Minnows!

I fish nothing but artificials, my two go to baits are a 5/32 oz. Matzuo Nanocrank and a 1/8th OZ Acme Kassmaster in chrome. I also catch bass on both. Two weeks ago at LBL I only caught two sunfish...but caught 7 largemouth and a white bass on the Nanocrank.

I didn't cast a vote because there is no choice for a jig. My vote would be this jig 1/64 gold cat fur jig

I usually use live worms most of the time I am fishing for sunfish. When I am not using live worms I use the Gulp Alive Night Crawlers-Thin size! I have also used jigs and grubs!

A Rooster Tail would have been my second choice. Between a Chartreuse worm and a Rooster Tail lure I have caught many and many of bass using those two baits.
