Fished the south jetty at Port Aransas on Tuesday & Wednesday along with Pretty Woman..

Tuesday 30th. Targeted various species including Snook. Hooked about 4 trout, all upper teens as pic shows, all good trout. Got into the Mangrove snapper (fish tacos!!) and focused on catching them, most being 3/4 lb to just over a pound. 6 total Mango's.

2 break-offs both 3-4 minutes into the fight that "safe bet" were reds but thinking they were something else. Didn't see them so only supposition, but thinking a different fish than a red based on the fight. Pretty Woman was Queen Skippy, must of caught 5 of them all on the large size. Good 2 hours of fishing.

Wednesday 31st. Fished for reds again. TOO finally got a strike, 2 matter of fact. Hook pulled both times, but got to feel a red on the line out in the areas we're fishing & re-scouting, so that's progress. Maybe by 2020 we'll finally net a red or two. Did see a couple reds caught on bottom channel side by other fishermen. Don't know what bait.
