 Vegetation on Lake Lewisville?

Are there any fishable spots with vegetation on Lake Lewisville? I have been fishing deeper water all summer as I haven't been able to find them shallow even early morning. Thanks

Is that really why theres no vegetation on Lake Lewisville? Its clearly a lake that caters mostly to pleasure boaters but I had no idea they were spraying out there. Thanks

They don't spray out there. They don't need to. It's never been much of a lake for vegetation in the 35 years I've fished it. I've seen a couple of places over the years where the corps or TP&W were trying to get some vegetation started, but it's been a long time. Obviously it didn't work.

I know of only 1 spot that has hidden vegetation on it, and NO, you cannot have that spot. I WILL say it is over in the old lake, but good luck on finding it. Took a LONG time to find it and I have kept it a secret, except to 2 people. Best not to let anyone know about it, so it remains a mystery. Wish I could help, but it was sstill there last year. Wish I could hemp more, but cannot. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

This is Thad's spot on the north end I hooked that moose on a hair jig right at the break line from that lettuce. Boat flipped her too.
