I looked online at Academy's bag of Apple Wood Pellets. The bag contains 65% OAK and 35% Apple wood. Why is this?

I've read good things about the Cookin Pellets. I use Lumberjack and really like them a lot. I have an Atwoods close by which stocks them.

I'll have to give lumberjacks a try. The perfect mix cookinpellets are pretty good.

I contacted Treager and they said their Apple pellet bag contained 30% apple wood. I use Pit Bosses Competition Blend. 50% Hickory, 25% each of Maple and Cherry. Used that yesterday on a couple chickens using my homemade Chicken Rub along with my homemade Exotic BBQ sauce. Great stuff.
