The big tournaments make it off limits because the Marina requires that as a stipulation to hold an event at their location. It is 100% legal to fish the marina... I saw the thread about the guy being run off, never had an issue or heard of anyone having an issue fishing there prior to that thread.

The only areas that are illegal to fish on Ray Roberts are the 2 swim beaches and the pumphouse. Marina is perfectly legal to fish even if the people running it tell you it isn't. The big tournaments make it off limits probably because it is a stipulation of them having the weigh ins on marina property.

Barrett and I had a guy try to tell us we couldn't fish in there years ago. We didn't listen to him.
