Any evidence of boat color affecting bass differently.

I know the white non glitter top cap on my Blue Wave center console is about 80 degrees cooler than most glittered up bass boats. So that affects the fisherman, which effects the fish.

But to answer your question, I would go with the color of the water you fish if you think it might make a difference.

I think a glass bottom boat would be the way to go. roflmao

Mine is basically white on top and black on the bottom. Turns out to be just the opposite as to what the fish want!

Except for the ones with aluminum rigs all pro boats I've ever seen have a black bottom, maybe theres a reason?

I have had a lot of white hulls, a red hull, shiny aluminum hull, and my current black hull.....never noticed any difference in fishing results. Actually caught my largest bass (10.4 lbs) in a Tracker with a shiny hull. The black hull bottom I currently own shows scratches more than the white hull bottoms....for what it's worth.

a famous Lake Fork guide recently deceased told me a black hull is the best. All of mine have been white or grey since all I buy are used boats.
However if I get to the point where I need a gator hull I'll get Mike to paint it black just to see.

Not sure it does. If they are close enough to see the color they certainly already could sense the boat near them. I think that's the biggest factor.
