This weekend, we fished in the Blue Wave Boats Owner's tournament in Port Aransas Texas. This is footage from Day 1 (pre-fishing day). We show you how we find and identify schools of redfish, trout, and other fish.

We targeted Redfish with Garmin Livescope in a channel. Once we find them, we navigate the trolling motor to stay 20-30 feet from them and cast into them. When they're suspended in the water column like they were today, freelined shrimp is the bait of choice.

We used today to get our process down in preparation for the tournament tomorrow. Stay tuned for that video next, and how we performed in the tournament. Enjoy the video.
Tim

You sir, are a fish finding and fish ketching machine. Great video, hard to beat reeling in Red fish. Freight train with scales.

Thanks Craig. Fishing is always fun, but when they're schooled like that, it's unforgetable! Tim

You got that right, they are Freight trains with scales. Nothing beats that drag running off 30 seconds at a time! Thanks for your kind comments. Tim
