It was 8 feet high 3 weeks ago and incredible, it's down to 3 1/2 high now and there are still keeper size fish in the flooded stuff but seemed like the bigger fish moved out. Millions of willow trees to flip and this week the weather has been really cool, they might have moved back up. 3 1/2 feet high is usually perfect if they keep it there for awhile. The non-fishing boat traffic is horrible, get away from it as much as you can.

Yea what he said. Lots of willows. I'd stay away from long town/hyw 9 area. The boat traffic there is always horrible. If you go south the water gets more stained, now south into the long town area is always clearer water. Towards the dam it will somewhat clean up, but the whole isn't as clear as it used to be. Always fish on the old 69 road bed.

I would stay around the triangle and south to stay away from play boat traffic. Water is pretty clean right now for that section of the lake. Oak Ridge ramp is a good place to launch in that area, just make sure to follow the channels when running in that part of the lake.

Contact RATZ. He just got back from there. He hangs out in the OT section of the TFF.
