I was reading reviews on bps about the TI2. One guy said the downscan frequency could not be changed. My question is how big of a deal is it to not be able to change it? I have 1300 hundred to buy a fishfinder and I’d like to buy the 9” ti2 but if you guys think I’d be happier with 7” HDS live I’ll buy that. Keep in mind I’m just learning how to offshore fish.

The down and side have 2 different settings on ti2. I get more detail with the 800 so usually stick with that. I have the 12 and love it

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Bigger screen is always better and the ti2 is a very clear unit I liked mine. The live is a little clearer but I personally will take the bigger screen for the same price.
