I was reading reviews on bps about the TI2. One guy said the downscan frequency could not be changed. My question is how big of a deal is it to not be able to change it? I have 1300 hundred to buy a fishfinder and Id like to buy the 9 ti2 but if you guys think Id be happier with 7 HDS live Ill buy that. Keep in mind Im just learning how to offshore fish.

The down and side have 2 different settings on ti2. I get more detail with the 800 so usually stick with that. I have the 12 and love it

When I am not fishing I am thinking about fishing. And mostly what I should have done differently my last trip!

Bigger screen is always better and the ti2 is a very clear unit I liked mine. The live is a little clearer but I personally will take the bigger screen for the same price.
