Gonna try a new lake tomorrow that I’ve never been to (from these 3). Kinda burnt out on fishing the same lake since I got my new boat. Wanting to explore some new water. What is y’all’s opinion?

Was going to Monti this morning, but decided to hit Welsh instead. I heard it was on fire, but guess all the fishies burnt up, because it was a rough morning.

I think I'll hit Monti in the morning. Last few times I've been there, the frog bite was good.

I may see you out there, I’ll be in a camo Xpress.

I can tell ya how not to catch em on Athens. Was out yesterday evening and only got 2. Lake was crowded until dark. To be fair I think they run a Tuesday tournament.

That’s no good! One of the reasons why I haven’t left my home lake. Caught 20+ fish the last 3 times out there. 5 over 4 lbs.. Kinda hard to not go back lol...

I typically fish lower percentage areas/ baits looking for bigger bites (at least that’s what I tell myself) plenty of people catching numbers out there I’m sure. P.s. good choice of boat! I’ve been running Xpress for the last 2 years

Best aluminum boat out there in my opinion. Quality made, not like a Tracker. I wanted something I could bump a stump with and not worry.

Winnsboro is not on your list but fairly close to some of the others you listed. I went out there early this afternoon and had not been there in 2-3 years at least. Caught fish from the time I got there till I left at dark. Only thing that worked for me was a Texas rigged craw on docks and some docks I would catch 3-4 fish. Lost track of how ,any I caught. No big ones though. 4lbs was about the biggest.
