Fished Fayette today with lifelong friend Joe Weathersby (aka The Weatherman). Fished daybreak til 1:00 pm & got around 50. The big fish bite was not as good as past weeks, but still a pretty good day. Water temp was 91-94 & north wind put a damper on 2 or 3 spots we really wanted to fish. The last pic is Joe driving my Fisher Marine stick steering super John boat way back in the early 1970s.

Side Note: While fishing Decker last Saturday the fish were on nest! Spoke with Fred who fished Decker today with Chris who was helping him learn the side scan. Fred told me that Chris was able to find a lot of beds in various locations of the lake. The beds were occupied by plenty of fat sunnies.

Are the sunnies spawning on Fayette?

Banker...Yes...several fish were squirting today when we were removing hooks...uh huh...Fred told me he was getting a side scan. It's on my Christmas wish list...

Thanks Steve: Looks like a second spawn has occurred. Just might get a third or fourth! Also a sunnie does not stand a chance once you get a side scan! Just look what you are catching without one!
