Can anyone tell me where I can find fishable grass on lake Fork? The only grass Im finding seems to be right along the shoreline about 1 - 2 feet deep. Im looking to fish a frog or a jig in the grass.

Thanks, Bart

What's wrong with the grass in 1-2ft. Sounds fishable to me

I can tell you they will eat a frog in the shallow shoreline grass in Glade. Some good fish mixed in too.

Okay thanks a lot guys. So is that where you are fishing a frog? In that 2 - 3 feet of grass along the shoreline? I was thinking maybe pads with a creek running through them in deeper water. I had no confidence in bass being in a foot of water two feet from the shoreline

Thank you

Regards, Bart

Ever heard the term "catching them in the dirt"?
Well now you know...

Go at sunrise in shallow water. As long as there is some deeper water close by you're good. They like an exit strategy if needed. And after the bite, that's where they'll take your line.

Out this morning about 9:00 am Missed one on a frog in Rogers Creek. Went north of of 2966 up in Running Creek. Wow, good looking water up there. Got no other bites. Maybe before the sun hits the water early or on a cloudy day would be better. Tremendous amount of shad back there
