 Big carp on giant boilie

Trying to avoid smaller carp, I made some big boilies in the 30mm to 40mm range last week. good job to be catching in this heat , btw i have seen it the other way around when 20 mil boiles were catching 4 lb commons , so size may not be that crucial . depends what size fish are in the area imo .

Update: Ended up catching a one eye 14 lb common on a 40mm sweet dream boilie last night, so going to produce some 50mm - 60mm boilies, both for selective prebaiting and hookbait. To be continued  ![[Linked Image]](http://freshwaterphil.com/images/oneeyecarp072219.jpg)

Doesn't always work out, since then I've managed to catch some mid size ones on even bigger boilies.
