Submitted for your consideration, two industrials and a ute: APD has been good to me this year, MMM looks like a value deal now (will take off when a China trade deal is announced), and AEP is just rock solid.

If you have money and we all know you do, buy some YETI stock. It will be a nice complement to all your other YETI gear. I've been thoroughly pleased with both.

But ETFs and forget about it. Dont waste your time with individual stocks, or youre going to get burned. Thank me later.

But ETF’s and forget about it. Don’t waste your time with individual stocks, or you’re going to get burned. Thank me later. I tend to agree in most cases. Building a diversified portfolio of low cost mutual funds and ETF's, with a risk level appropriate to the investor at that particular time, will get people miles further down the road in the long run. One problem that I see out in the wild is that most people have no idea what their particular risk tolerance is, or how to quantify it, and have no idea of the risk in their portfolios (or how to quantify that) to understand if it all matches up.

Anything in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry would be a good bet. Both are blowing up right now.

Thanks Mutual fund is actively managed while an ETF is passive. Mutual funds are typically less liquid, and you dont get real-time price updates. An ETF trades more like a stock in the sense that you can get a constant flow of pricing changes off any website (Yahoo Finance, WSJ, etc...)

I kick myself because I sold Harris (HRS, now LHX ) and Mercury Systems (MRCY) in March. I've been looking at Plantronics (PLT), but I think I'll wait until their next earnings report.
He is truly a sick individual.
