Put the tube on Athens today. I don't know when I will get to fish it again. I hiit a bunch of my regular boathouses and they all produced. Pieces of crawler fished weightless was the key. Lots of fish came to hand, most in the 6 to 8 inch range. Caught gills, shellcrackers and redbreasts. Several bigger fish stopped in to play as well.

Normally I turn fish loose but I kept a total of 5 today for supper. By next Fri I will be living in Amarillo and will amuse myself trying to figure out the walleye and crappie on Lake Meridith.

Cheers Y'All

My condolences , I moved from Borger in 1982. Not many places to tube in Lake Meredith. It's only about half full , down 49 feet
from when I lived there.
There are lots of soil conservation lakes in Western Oklahoma. Permission to fish
was pretty easy to get back in the mid 70's , not so sure how it is now.
Good luck.
