Athens this weekend was pretty good. My first fish was my PB. 7.5lbs. She was 25 inches with a giant head and skinny lower half. If it was spring she would have probably been closer to 9-10. Not gonna complain. She's back in the water safe to get bigger for next year. We caught a decent amount of fish. Saw a lot of top water schooling.

I knew this wasn't the biggest, just was wonewhat it was there this year. Great lake, I always enjoy fishing there.

There was an 11lb 15oz hog caught in a Kayak tournament in early spring out there

The big fish on Athens have been a little slower this year...seen a lot over 10 last year...not so many this year..

Nice fish. I love it when you see that big head coming out of the water...with a little skinny body. Still much better than not catching one.
