It has one light for both so I'm guessing its low oil because we just replaced the impeller a few months ago and it's peeing a good stream. The light has started a rapid flashing pattern now.

so buzzer has been replaced by a light?.. you have no buzzer at all?.. can you confirm tha year, or close to it, of tha motor?.. does tha light blink a couple, maybe three times and go off when tha key is turned on?.. does tha motor hafta be runnin' to get tha blinkin' alarm signal?

if its tha mag it will have two oiler related sensors.. one is tha tank (on motor) low oil and other is a rotation sensor.. but sometimes tha oiler module itself will go south.. reason for tha different questions...

The light comes on with the key and then usually goes off. The flashing starts when the motor fires up and a couple times, sort of random, it will rapid flash when the key is turned on but not started. The audible alarm has quit working too. I checked the Piezo and it works when 12 V is applied but only the light comes on with the key.

They are both on one. High heat/low oil. Comes on as a steady flashing light even before motor is cranked..

i'll get tha manual to ya in a few minutes.. if it comes on as soon as ya turn tha key on then more than likely its a bad oiler module.. starboard side below no 1 plug is a sensor.. it should terminate on a plastic block right above tha switch boxes on tha flange of tha block half.. should be three tan/blue or solid tan wires under one screw.. one of those wires goes to tha oiler module.. disconnect it and turn key on.. alarm should go away.. leave it disconnected and ground tha screw with tha other two connected.. you should get a sloid light when key is on.. this tells ya tha over heat part is as it should be.. tha manual should tell ya all about tha warning stuff...

tha oiler stuff and tha over heat are different circuits that share tha same warning buzzer, but in your case tha same "light"...

Constant buzzer which I've found out means low oil pressure

Constant alarm which means low oil. We've tried burping the motor mounted reservoir and still getting the same alarm.

a constant, continuous alarm is over temp or could be bad oiler module.. any oiler problem is gonna be a "blinking light" on your rig if module is good if indeed tha buzzer is disconnected..... unless ya have a bad module
