I think the Guide Lanes have a few more trails than Lance Vicks.

There was a well known TFFer using the Vick chip in glade on Fork and was in the lane and hit a stump and knocked the engine completely off of his basscat

The Sabine River Authority ought to find enough money to spread out more buoys. If they are going to leave a mass of timber in the lake on a lake that popular, they ought to mark it. I'd be bummed if I knocked my engine off following a guide trail.

I dont think he did that in Lances lane. Think he did it running the 2 unmarked lanes going into the East Fields.

Ive had Vicks on my graph since he first came out with it. They are spot on. Besides. He has way more time on Fork than the guy that created the other one.

Thanks for the responses. The main thing that interests me in the "Guide Lanes" is that he says it was mapped out when the lake was 7' low. I've read a lot of reviews that talk about the Vick boat lanes that say only trust these when at full pool, or maybe a foot or two low.

Sinkey - your last comment matches up with what I keep hearing. Hell, I don't know. Probably can't go wrong either way...

This is correct.

The new version that Lance has out has some added trails etc that are not on earlier variations. Also if anyone is using current version.of Lakemaster chip the buoys are way off on it in some of the lanes. I just follow Lance's chip and trust it. That's my take on it.
