She saw in Bassmaster magazine the guy who caught the Lunker in Joe Pool on a lizard. So she asked me today if we have any lizards--of course we do. She picked out a green/chartreuse and put it on her C-rig. The first cast she catches this 3.99 lb. Thanks for all the comments. I am fortunate she enjoys fishing as much as I do. I generally hold the fish/scale up and she takes a photo of the weight once it settles down. I cannot see how much it weighs, I just try to hold it steady. It is a little odd that both of our personal bests are the same weight, both caught on the same lake but in different spots and different years. As for this fish looking large, maybe it is the lens on here iPhone camera--I really don't know. She wasn't really holding way out in front trying to make it look bigger.
