Hello fellows, Im camped out at lake Whitney for the weekend with wife and boat and wanted to ask where the hotspots are for striper. Im putting in at uncle guss marina. Ill be trolling hellbenders with pet spoon following. This is my first trip to Whitney and dont have a clue where to start. This was a spontaneous trip so I havent had a chance to study up. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

where walling bend park is at fish that cove that is in that area. also use the sonar around the channel and around flats on the channel. last year on a cloudy day and also in the morning and evening they were breaking the water. Also use a 1-1/2oz jig head and put at fluke on it and dead stick it or hop it along where you know they are at. [Linked Image]

Rough season on Whitney is an understatement. It has been absolutely terrible on Whitney.
