I have a HDS 8 gen 2 non-touch. I purchased this used. I downloaded the owners manual and printed it. At this time all seems to work fine but the screen is split between chart and sonar. This unit is on the bow connected to transducer on trolling motor. I would like to have it showing sonar only, not split. Can't find answer in manual and I'm not really to tech savvy to figure it out. If you can help I sure would be thankful. Thom Also it seems the main screen is set to chart.

Press the pages button, top right with a picture of a piece of paper. A screen will come up that scolls up, down, left & right by using the cursor arrow. Play with that page and if you can�t figure it out, post back.

Just as grout said. Press pages button, this opens the carrousel screen, use the right/left arrow keys to turn the carrousel until your on the sonar screen. Then use the up arrow key to.highlight sonar and nothing below it. This will give you full screen sonar. If you highlight any of the options below sonar that is what will be be on the split screen with sonar. If you press the menu button while on that screen it will give you the option of how you want your split screen to display. Play with it from there and you�ll figure it out.
