It's dual purpose.

Dual purpose batteries are not the BEST battery for starting or deep cycling but they are the best(only) choice when combining the two roles of starting(high amps) and running electronics all day(deep cycling). The Duracell so many purchase @ Sams is dual purpose. Excellent value: https://www.samsclub.com/p/duracell...-battery-group-size-31dtmagm/prod3590232

The Duracell is a great battery but you should check your motors minimum cca requirements. For example, a 250proxs needs 1000 minimum I think. So once you add electronics, pumps, poles etc all day you definitely won't have that 1000 available. We ran into this problem. We use the Duracell 31 AGM strictly for trolling motor batteries and the Odyssey pc2150 for a dual purpose. It's pricey but the best pure lead battery made. Another option much cheaper is the exide megacycle 31 AGM. Ran it for a year no issues.

I've run a Deka 27 on my 250 SHO and all electronics for the last year and zero issues. Next time I will jump to a group 31.

Dual purpose is really your only option unless you are going to either move your electronics to your trolling motor batteries or add another just for the electronics. Even then your livewells...are factory wired to the starting battery. Dual purpose batteries are not the optimal choice but work fine.

I would go with a Deka Marine. They are extremely reliable, I have never had an issue

I just purchased three group 31 Dura Cell AGM's. One will be used for start/electronics/accessories.
