Hey All,
So at our last club meeting we discussed the need for a new scale. The scale could be new or used, and of course we want to spend as little as possible. I think it was said that 300 bucks for a refurbished scale would do. Any suggestions from the group?

I would go new if possible, its important that it works the same for everyone and its a rare one time expense.

I use a ProTournament H2Series Deluxe with remote digital readout, tripod, hard case etc for a few years now and I can say they are Top Shelf Scales. My setup cost a lot more than the 357 Model (close to $2K) . The company makes a great scale. Good luck with your choice.

Another vote for the 357 system. That's what I use for my tournaments and it is a really good scale. I'd recommend getting the case for it too. Keeps it safe and also makes it a lot easier to transport.

You might contact the Irving Bass Club. I understand they are disbanding and selling all their related equipment used in the tournaments they ran.
