about 20 years ago a friend of my daughter called and said her AC wasnt working, would I come take a look. So I grabbed my toolbelt & drove over, when I got there she was sunbathing topless in the backyard, that should have been my first hint, I went to work on the AC and it was simple, the condenser fan motor was kaput. I called a couple folks to see if anyone had one on a Sunday, found one & went to tell her. By that time she had dressed & was inside wearing a t-shirt & panties, that should been my second clue. I told her Id go get the fan replacement and be back & it would cost about 100 bucks , now I need to sidetrack a bit; I was in the best physical condition of my life at this time and this is the same time period when my youngest child happened to us, so anyway she said a couple tings about pre-martial sex & how she didnt think it was wrong .. here is my biggest regret in life; in my mind all I could think about was I was married (happily) had a new baby & 2 daughters...I went to get fan motor & replaced it, left a bill for 120 bucks on the table & said goodby... damn damn damn

Really wish I would have had a closer relationship with my Children when they were young, divorce split the Family, now in my advanced years I do miss that relationship very much. Its hard to see the closeness to their Step Father they now have (as he rightly deserves).

1. At 18/19, out of high school, I wish I would have moved to N.Y. or L.A. to try my hand at making it in the music business.
That is where the record label decision makers were, and I'm very confident if I had written the music I do now, back then, I'd have made it famous!

Addendum: If you wanted to make it in R&B or soul, then Detroit or Memphis were the main places to go, and for country, it was Nashville.

2. My parents are still here, and I see them regularly, but I "wished" I had spent more time with them when THEY were younger, much less myself.
