Hey I live in the area and I am pretty new at fishing. I pretty much live in between both lakes and was wondering if yall knew any good catfishing spots I can access from the bank. Any tips and locations would be greatly appreciated. Plan on taking my son once I'm able to find a good spot. Thanks in advance!

Current time of year most activity will be early morning/late evening at least in areas that you can do bank fishing. Catch some shad if you get a throw net or if not catch some sunfish with rod and reel and use them. I don't fish hubbard or lavon hardly ever but if you google gps nautical charts ray hubbard, then find places where there is deep water very close to a shallow area like a small flat or a point that is also at a spot you have bank access (google maps/google earth) then go any time between about 7:30pm and 10am and cast out. If you don't get bites in 20 minutes don't stay there move and find somewhere better.

Thanks for the advice! Are these things I would look for? I know I still need to look at the area to see if I can even fish at the bank there

I have seen people fishing around the public boat ramps and getting good numbers on cats at Lavon.
