How the heck do I turn off the back up camera? Reason I ask is I can't see behind the truck in the dark. Too much light from the screen in the cab of the truck.

We have two guys at work with the same thing. There is NO WAY to turn it off or dim it. They throw a t shirt or towel over it when it’s dark outside.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I have to get a piece of cardboard and velcro strips. Once installed I will drive it to the nearest Chevy dealer and ask. WHAT THE HECK WAS GM THINKING!!
Better yet take pictures and send to GM corporate.

There is, or used to be, a dimmer control for the dash/control panel lights on the left hand side of the steering wheel near the headlight controls, have you tried that?

If you have a valet mode I'd try that.
