Had the pleasure of going out with one of East Texas local guides William Oliver to slay some slabs on brush piles. When I say we hit them, I mean we hit them hard. After we reached my 25 mark, we kept fishing (Catch and release at this point) trying new spots. They would just not stop biting. Thank you. The quick story is I was injured in Afghanistan in 2005. I have been close to suicide and was able to overcome it. That is what I have been doing with Lone Star Warriors Outdoors since I started it in 2011. Giving back. It helps me heal and helps the guys that are on the hunts and soon to be on the fishing trips. I would love to see all the guides in this area come together for one weekend to take guys out and have a competition. Working for that, but right now we are going to work small and have William and myself take 2 each. Thant plan is a few years off. I cannot think of anyone better than William to help with this as he has a heart for the Veterans! I hope that you all will subscribe to the channel so that you can see some of the trips that I take these guys on. I hate having to post them here, but I only have 6 people subscribed! LOL

Awesome man, Palestine is a great lake for Crappie and I just learned that Lake Tyler is too. Soon you will be like me as I fished 5 out of 7 days last week. Been too windy this week and my body is itching to go. Almost drove out just to look at my boat yesterday! haha. Will shoot you a message with my number. Give me a yell and I can show you around too.
