If you're strictly bass fishing, then I would go bass boat. For crappie, catfish, sand bass, hybrids, I'd look at a center console.

I guess it depends on your love for the fishing/hobby. If all you think about is going fishing, then you need a boat! If you think about fishing once every six months, then do not buy one.

here's another SHOULD I BUY...a RV trailer ($30K) instead of renting a cabin at various RV parks around Toledo Bend / Sam Rayburn...i just bought a new 2019 Sierra 1500 that'll pull it but i can load it down with boxes to take to the cabin...oh, did i mention the 2 dogs...one is a Bernese Mountain MONSTER dog only 5 months old ![[Linked Image]](https://texasfishingforum.com/forums/pics/userpics/2019/07/full-93089-18514-7.14.19.jpg)
