Just had an older set of 8ft Talons installed, if I had known they did not have a foot remote I would not have purchased them. Minkota tells me they are no longer available, does anyone have one.

Really? Why would they discontinue the foot remote?

They have been hard to find for quite a while, search ebay or use the hand held remote and glue some delrin over the up on one and down on the other and screw them to the deck.. I did similar for my blue tooth so I use a handheld on my floor to drop ONE talon and my foot pad to drop both..
by dropping one I can let the wind swing me around vs trying to get positioned just right with the back of the boat into the wind

They are hard to find. Keep looking on ebay. Took me a couple of months.
