Anyone been down to Choke Canyon this summer for catfish? I plan on going next month but haven't heard much. I plan on taking my dad and son down in the boat. I figured most of the eaters will be in shallow water in July. Let me know! thanks!

Thanks Jimbo, I will bring a bucket of sour grain for sure. Anyone have any general areas they want to share? I've only fished Choke once two years ago and all we caught were 12"er's.

I haven't been since last summer but the few times I catfished Choke, all i caught were 10-14'' er's as well. I used to see the guide there (Marve) cleaning his catch and looked like thats about all he caught too. But one thing is for sure, with some sour grain in the timber, you will catch all you want to mess with.
